I never asked for much, I thought. I never wanted diamonds, cars, houses or expensive gifts. I never asked for a trip around the world or gold. All I wanted was pure love and loyalty. Nothing else. The simplest thing in the world to give, I thought. But now after many years I realize I was wrong. I should have asked for all the other things. They're easier to get. My request was over the top. Something only found in dreams and fairy tales. Pure love and loyalty. Who knew that in this day and age, it would be easier to ask for the world. I never asked for much, I thought.
